Vincent Nolan was born 24/11/1936 in New South Wales, Australia and moved to New Zealand in 1962. He grew up on a farm with his parents and 6 siblings. He is catholic and used to go to church every Sunday with his family when he was a child and one of his sisters became a nun when she grew up. His used to do surf lifesaving and hockey as his hobbies and when he left school he became a builder. He made his own bicycle from scraps he found at a junk yard when he was a teenager.
Shona Nolan was born 21/3/1969 in Mosgiel, Dunedin and moved to Auckland in 1998 through her job at ANZ. She is catholic and went to church every Sunday with her dad and 2 siblings while her mum was at home making lunch. and all her schooling was at catholic schools. Her hobbies as a child was cooking, baking, sewing and reading. When she was in high school she wanted to be a train driver at Mosgiel train station or join the army.
Martin Nolan was born on 22/6/1972 in Auckland, New Zealand and has lived there his whole life. He is catholic but didn't go to church much when he was younger and doesn't think it affects his life that much. His hobbies as a child and a teen were pool, soccer and video games. He went to kindergarten with his bestfriend but wasn't friends with him till year 2. They are still bestfriends and him and his family are our closest family friends.
